Hey all, I'm Gabe and I'm located in Dayton, NV. I have worked in many different fields, from being an enlisted operator in the military, to an engineer and a data scientist, but all of those areas had two things in common. 1. I wanted to help people as best I could with the skills I've learned 2. They required accountability to be successful. Others holding me accountable and also holding myself accountable. Without that, I never would have made it through some pretty tough days. I am here to teach you the formula for getting you and your dog where you've always wanted.
My dog training adventure started in 2016 when I got my first pup as an adult. I put my pup through several levels of obedience training at the local pet store, and that seemed good enough for him. He was relatively easy, although early in our relationship he was JUMPING on me lots and ripping my clothes. In hindsight, I wish I knew what I know now…anyway…
Enter Ridley in 2017, a pitbull that my girlfriend and I adopted. At first Ridley appeared fine, but as time went on, she developed some very alarming behaviors and Ridley was getting extremely hard to handle. We tried trainers and really, they just seemed to make things worse. I watched the dog jump clear over a fence that was about 7 ft tall, chasing after a squirrel, she broke a window in our house lunging at a squirrel from inside, and she had been redirecting her troubles on us. We needed to do something. My girlfriend had been reading about some well known dog trainers that are considered controversial by many, and wanted to put Ridley through a board and train. Luckily, we found one where we lived. So we set it up, sent her off, and never looked back. This was the best decision we could have made for the dog and us. I had a feeling that it was going to make her better, but after I saw exactly how drastic the change was, I became 100% committed to the methods. She was a completely different dog.
We of course threw Wile E right into the training after that. I’ve been using the training to our own benefit for the last 7 years and helping family and friends along the way. Now it’s time that I pass on what we’ve learned to others who either have similar problems or who just want to set their dog up on the right track.
